Reimagined Legendary 11mm Dynamic Driver Unit

Moondrop’s patented 11mm dynamic driver is known for its marvelous performance, as evident from the success of the previous flagship Moondrop Illumination series. Professional engineers have redesigned this flagship-grade driver with a new upgraded diaphragm and magnetic circuit architecture. The pair now adopts the TAC Diamond-Coated Dome Composite diaphragm for unmatched clarity. This new diaphragm is supported with a new magnetic architecture featuring ultra-high-efficiency magnetic conductive materials and a scientifically designed large-volume magnetic circuit. High-quality copper alloy material independent support structure increases the stroke and minimizes the disturbances in the magnetic circuit. The driver also gets an independent cavity structure made up of high-quality copper alloy material. Moondrop has designed the TAC Diamond-coated Dome Composite Diaphragm based on the LCP dome technology. It has a high-rigidity artificial diamond layer applied through a deposition process, enhancing the rigidity of the dome. It exhibits improved internal damping, resulting in enhanced treble performance. For optimal bass dynamics, a flexible, high-damping polyurethane material suspension is used.
