Keychron V2 Max QMK/VIA Wireless Custom Mechanical Keyboard
The V2 Max is a QMK custom mechanical keyboard with 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 connection. It has a compact 65% layout and offers a gasket mount design, sound-absorbing foam, double-shot PBT keycaps, and more. The V2 Max is designed for a personalized experience and enhanced typing comfort.
All-around Customizable Keyboard
To build a fully customizable keyboard, we designed every component to be easily assembled so you can customize and adjust any or every part the way you want.
2.4 GHz & Bluetooth Connection
Experience peak gaming performance on the fly with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection boasting a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the V2 Max via Bluetooth 5.1 to three devices.
Dual Receivers
For a better 2.4 GHz wireless experience, the V2 Max comes with Type-C and Type-A receivers. Enjoy the quick plug-and-play time, or store them in the keyboard’s magnetic storage slot at the top right corner.
An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A powerful ARM architecture MCU equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps
These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and an SA-like shape. Named the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap, they provide excellent oil resistance, enhance typing feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.
Switch Layouts Between macOS & Windows
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V2 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Gasket Mount Design
By adopting a gasket mount design along with a PC (Polycarbonate) plate, the V2 Max reduces acoustic resonance, delivering a softer and quieter typing experience with enhanced flexibility.
Hot-swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.
Program V2 Max with QMK & VIA
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, even the knob, and more.
South-facing RGB LED Lights
The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.
Gateron Jupiter Switch
Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch (for the Fully Assembled version only) comes with a 3-pin design, pre-lubed with a reliable Gateron quality standard and up to 80 million keystrokes lifespan. Their unique LED diffuser design offers high RGB backlight transmittance and a softer backlight effect.
Screw-In PCB Stabilizers
Even small parts matter for your fingertip feel. We’ve integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as the space bar, shift, enter, and delete keys. The Keychron V2 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
