AMD Ryzen Processor Support
The AMD Socket AM5 supports AMD Ryzen™ 7000, Ryzen™ 8000, and Ryzen™ 9000 Series processors.
Digital VRM Design
The 8+2+2-phase digital VRM solution combines digital PWM with DrMOS to deliver stable power for supported processors. The motherboard features a 6-layer PCIe 5.0-ready PCB.
DDR5 Memory Support
Four dual-channel SMD DDR5 DIMM slots support AMD EXPO™ and Intel® XMP memory modules. Memory overclocking is supported up to 8200 MT/s and beyond, depending on the memory modules and system configuration. The BIOS also includes DDR5 Auto Booster and user profile options.
Advanced Thermal Design
Fully covered MOSFET heatsinks and 5 W/mK thermal pads help manage heat around the VRM. The M.2 Thermal Guard helps dissipate heat from compatible M.2 SSDs to reduce throttling. Smart Fan 6 provides temperature monitoring and customizable fan control.
High-Speed Storage and Expansion
Three M.2 connectors include one PCIe 5.0 slot and two PCIe 4.0 slots. The motherboard also features four SATA 6Gb/s connectors, one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x4 slot, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.
Wi-Fi 6E and Network Connectivity
Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax supports the 6GHz band, and the motherboard includes Bluetooth 5 and 2.5GbE LAN. WIFI EZ-Plug combines the Wi-Fi antenna connections into one adapter for easier installation.
Display and USB Connections
Display connections include DisplayPort and HDMI. USB connectivity includes rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and Type-C ports, and USB 2.0 ports. The motherboard also supports front USB 3.2 Gen 1 and front USB Type-C connections.
High-Resolution Audio
8-channel HD audio includes high-end audio capacitors and Audio Noise Guard to help separate sensitive analog audio components from potential PCB noise.
DIY-Friendly Features
PCIe EZ-Latch Plus supports quick-release graphics card removal. Q-Flash Plus lets you update the BIOS without installing the CPU, memory, or graphics card.
Smart Fan 6 Cooling Control
Six PWM/DC fan headers support fans and water-cooling pumps, with over-current protection. Smart Fan 6 offers multiple temperature sensors, customizable fan curves, slope and stair modes, and Fan Stop.
RGB Lighting and Software
RGB Fusion supports motherboard and compatible component lighting through three addressable LED headers and one RGB LED header. GIGABYTE Control Center provides a unified interface for supported products, modular controls, and automatic updates.
