Alphacool Core Reservoir

The Alphacool Core reservoir combines performance and design in a sleek package. The reservoir tube is made from acrylic, while the D5/VPP pump top and lid are constructed from acetal. This combination of materials gives the reservoir a subtle yet elegant appearance. The 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top and the Lighttower water effect inside the acrylic tube provide a stunning visual experience.

What's New?

Compared to previous models, the Core reservoir features an acrylic tube with an external thread, which ensures greater stability and safety when connecting the lid and pump top to the tube. The integrated digital aRGB lighting, with 12 LEDs in the pump top, is another new feature, eliminating the need for separate purchases of lighting components.

Extensive Assembly Options

Mounting Option 1:

The package includes feet that allow the Core reservoir to be mounted on the bottom of the housing.

Mounting Option 2:

The package also includes 120mm/140mm mounting frames, which allow the Core reservoir to be attached to free fan slots, radiators, or directly to fans on radiators.

Digitally Addressable RGB Lighting

12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs are arranged in a ring at the lower end of the acrylic tube, transitioning into the pump top. These LEDs provide brilliant illumination, and when paired with the Lighttower water effect, they create a mesmerizing ambience. The digital aRGB LED lighting connects via a JST 3-pin connector and can be controlled using a digital RGB controller (e.g., Alphacool Aurora Eiscontrol, Art.15360) or a motherboard with digital RGB support.

Lighttower Water Effect

The Core reservoir features a special water effect via the riser tubes. If the expansion tank is filled below the top edge of the riser tube, a fountain effect is created. Water is pushed out of the sides of the riser tube and splashed against the acrylic tube. The effect’s strength depends on the flow of the system. The effect can be adjusted by positioning the riser tubes at the lower or upper inlet, as included in the package.

Pump Compatibility

The Alphacool Core reservoir comes with an integrated pump top and is compatible with all original D5 pumps as well as all Alphacool VPP pumps. The package includes the pump retaining ring, an O-ring, and all necessary screws for installation.
