AERODYNAMIC SQUAMA PRINCIPLE
Laminar boundary layer is prone to flow separation, resulting in greater resistance. While the Squama dents are added to the outer frame, the dimples promote turbulent transition. The turbulent boundary layer is not easy to separate, so the resistance of the flowing air in the outer frame is reduced, increasing airflow speed. The larger frictional resistance of turbulence improves inlet stability and helps dampen noise at high speed.

SOFT RUBBER INNER WALL
