Ready Out-of-the-Box - Easy Installation
The Liquid Freezer III is ready for immediate use thanks to its pre-installed radiator fans in a push configuration. The fan cables are integrated into the jacket of the hoses so that only one cable needs to be connected to the motherboard. With the MX-6 thermal compound included, installation is quick and easy.
Liquid Freezer III 240 – Tested and Confirmed by Intel
Intel has tested and confirmed the Liquid Freezer III on the i9-13900K/KF, i9-14900K/KF, and i9-13900KS in the Enthusiast and Desktop category. These tests considered both the mounting with a contact frame and the cooler's performance.
Future-Proof Compatibility
The Liquid Freezer III is multi-compatible with Intel and AMD sockets. Intel will release the new Arrow Lake processors on the LGA1851 socket in the future, and we guarantee full compatibility. All Liquid Freezer III models can be used with the LGA1851 socket without limitation.
*Extend compatibility with LGA1200, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1151, and LGA1150 sockets using the LGA1200/115X Mounting Kit.
Outstanding Performance
In independent tests, the Liquid Freezer III outperforms competitors in all price categories. In noise-normalized tests, it demonstrates superior performance, operating quietly while delivering excellent cooling efficiency.
Contact Frame for Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851
Intel’s Independent Loading Mechanism (ILM) deforms the CPU by pressing it into the socket at two points with over 40 kg of force. This pressure can lead to long-term issues under high thermal loads. ARCTIC’s mounting frame prevents CPU deformation, reduces mechanical stress, and ensures consistent cooling performance while simplifying installation.
Silent and Powerful VRM Fan
Motherboard voltage converters often reach high temperatures, especially with power-hungry CPUs. The Liquid Freezer III features a revised 60 mm PWM-controlled VRM fan that provides nearly silent cooling. It improves cooling in cases with poor airflow, under high loads, or in overclocking scenarios, extending the lifespan of voltage converters.
Integrated Cable Management
The fan cables are hidden within the sleeving, ensuring a clean and simple setup. Only the connectors from the pump head need to be connected to the motherboard, eliminating the need for additional splitter cables and simplifying installation.
Complete Control or Simple Control
Two connection options:
- Separate regulation: The splitter cable allows independent control of the pump, VRM fan, and radiator fan. The VRM fan speed can be adjusted separately based on voltage converter temperatures.
- All-in-One: Similar to the Liquid Freezer II, this setup enables full unit control via a single connection, simplifying fan management through one PWM setting.
Native AMD Offset Mounting
AMD’s Ryzen desktop processors use a multi-die chiplet design, with the hotspot slightly offset rather than centered. The AMD mounting solution features a 5 mm offset to optimize heat dissipation.
Improved Radiator Design
The 38 mm thick radiator now has a 23% larger fin stack, increasing the cooling surface. This enhancement improves heat dissipation and allows for a larger liquid volume, effectively managing temperature peaks over longer periods.
High Static Pressure
ARCTIC’s award-winning P-series fans deliver exceptional performance on heat sinks and radiators with high fin density. Their high static pressure ensures superior cooling compared to airflow-focused fans.
Limited Compatibility with Some Motherboards
Some motherboards are incompatible with the Liquid Freezer III due to oversized SSD coolers in the M.2_1 slot. ARCTIC provides a free M.2 cooler for affected motherboards.
Best CPU Water Cooler with the Best Price-Performance Ratio
The Liquid Freezer III series won three European Hardware Awards in 2024. Like its predecessor, it sets new benchmarks in compact water cooling. Independent reviewers have praised its performance, value for money, and quiet operation.
