Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora Reservoir
The Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora reservoir features an integrated pump top designed for powerful D5 pumps and comes equipped with a VPP655 PWM pump. The reservoir tube is made of glass, while the D5/VPP pump top and lid are constructed from acetal. This combination results in a stunning appearance, further enhanced by 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs in the pump top and the Lighttower water effect inside the glass tube.
Extensive Mounting Options
Mounting Option 1:
Stands are included in the package, allowing for easy installation of the reservoir at the bottom of the enclosure.
Mounting Option 2:
120mm/140mm mounting frames are also included, enabling the Eisbecher Aurora reservoir to be mounted on available fan slots, radiators, or directly onto radiator fans.
Digitally Addressable RGB Lighting
The reservoir features 12 digitally addressable RGB LEDs mounted in a ring at the lower end of the glass tube, seamlessly transitioning into the pump top. These LEDs provide brilliant illumination throughout the reservoir. When combined with the Lighttower water effect, the result is a visually stunning display. The digital aRGB LEDs connect via a JST 3-pin connector and can be controlled using a digital RGB controller (e.g., Alphacool Aurora Eiscontrol, Art.15360) or a compatible motherboard with digital RGB support.
Lighttower Water Effect
The Eisbecher reservoir creates a unique water effect through its riser tubes. If the coolant level remains below the top edge of the riser tube, a fountain effect is achieved. Water is pushed out of the sides of the riser tube and splashes against the glass, with the strength of the effect varying based on the flow rate of the loop.
Pump
The VPP655 pump is an excellent choice for PC and other electronics water cooling systems. It utilizes an electronically commutated spherical motor, with the only moving part being a spherically shaped rotor held in place by an ultra-hard, wear-resistant ceramic bearing ball. This design prevents bearing play over time, ensuring quiet and smooth operation throughout its lifespan. Additionally, the pump does not require separate magnetic shielding.
