Processor
Inventor is primarily single-threaded in its design, and therefore benefits from processors with a high single-core clock speed over a high core count. This makes Intel's Core i7 and i9 processors excellent choices when working on complex assemblies in Inventor. If you spend a lot of time doing FEA simulations, or CPU-based rendering, we suggest considering processors with higher core counts.

Graphics Card
The graphics card is responsible for displaying your model on the screen, with high-performance video cards delivering a higher framerate when working on 3D models and assemblies. We recommend a mid-range Nvidia RTX A series card for users working on small to medium assembles, and higher end models for users working on larger, more complex assemblies.

Memory
The amount of memory required to run Inventor well well will depend on the complexity of the models that you are working on, however as a general rule-of-thumb we recommend a minimum of 16GB of RAM for users working on assemblies of up to 1000 parts, 32GB for users working on larger assemblies, and 64GB+ for heavy users who putting their workstation through using heavy rendering and simulation workloads.
