Enscape isn’t a particularly processor-intensive application, and is largely single-threaded in its design, so a mainstream Intel Core i7, or AMD Ryzen 7 processor with a high single-core clock speed will ensure that you are able to run this application with ease. Consider other 3D modelling applications that you run as part of your workflow when choosing a processor for an Enscape workstation so that you get the best overall experience.

Graphics Card
The choice of video card is crucial when speccing a workstation for Enscape, as it is the video card is the primary driver of performance in this application. We recommend a mid to high-end Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card with at least 8GB of VRAM, as the Ray Tracing (RT) cores inside of a modern RTX video card will accelerate the real-time ray tracing features of Enscape.

Enscape itself doesn’t require a lot of RAM, but as always, we recommend considering other applications that are part of the user’s workflow when determining a workstation’s requirements. Generally, we recommend a minimum of 32GB of RAM for most creative workstations, as the cost saving in going down to 16GB at this stage is pretty marginal.
