How to Choose the Workstation Specs
Processor
ZBrush isn’t as resource intensive as many other similar creative applications, though it does make use of high core count processors. Because of this we recommend AMD’s Ryzen 9 and Intel’s Core i7 and i9 processors, both of which delivery the performance required to have a fluid, stutter-free experience using ZBrush.
Graphics Card
ZBrush itself doesn’t make much use of a dedicated video card, so any mid-range GPU will be sufficient for this application. With that being said, it is always important to consider other applications that a user may use as part of your creative workflow, and whether or not they are likely to make use of GPU-accelerated rendering. If so, users may want to consider a higher-end video card.
Memory
ZBrush is highly-optimised, and a system with as little as 16GB of RAM can handle models with tens of millions of polygons, however considering that users will likely be running other applications as part of their workflow, it would generally be safer to spec a system with at least 32GB of RAM.
