Processor
Unity’s processing requirements will vary depending on the specific task that you are performing. We have found that one of the best options for most users are AMD’s Ryzen 9 processors, however, if you are a heavy user that does a lot of complex lighting calculations, and compiling the engine from source, a high core count processor like AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper processors will be significantly faster for these tasks.

Graphics Card
A high-end video card will give you a higher framerate in Unity Editor’s viewport, as well as in-game. Nvidia’s GeForce RTX cards are a popular choice for Unity workstations, with performance scaling fairly linearly with price. A higher-end model is recommended if you are developing for VR, or are working on a game that has not yet been optimised.

Memory
The amount of memory required to run Unity well will depend on the complexity of the projects that you are working on, however as a general rule-of-thumb we recommend 32GB of RAM for most users, and 64GB+ for heavy users who do complex lighting calculations.
