Workstations for INNEO Solutions Keyshot

Create photorealistic images and animations with a workstation optimised for Keyshot

Keyshot: The Premier Tool for Creating Photorealistic 3D Renderings

KeyShot is a software used for creating images and animations from 3D models. Its user friendly interface and powerful real time rendering features enable designers to produce impressive visuals efficiently. KeyShot supports a wide variety of file formats and is commonly utilized in product design, automotive engineering and architecture industries.

How to Choose the Workstation Specs

  • Processor

Keyshot has both a CPU-based and GPU-based rendering engine, and your requirements for CPU processing power will depend on whether or not you intend to render out your projects with the CPU or GPU. Ideally you want to aim for a processor that takes a balanced approach to clock speed and core count, making processors like AMD’s Ryzen 9, and Intel’s Core i9 processors ideal all-rounders.

  • Graphics Card

A high-end video card will reduce your render times if you intend to use GPU-based rendering in Keyshot. Multiple video cards can be used to both increase processing power, but to increase the pool of available VRAM, which is essential for larger, more complex scenes. Where maximising VRAM is required, Nvidia’s professional-grade RTX cards may be the best option, as they generally have more VRAM than their GeForce RTX counterparts.

  • Memory

The amount of memory required to run Keyshot well will depend on the complexity of the projects that you are working on, however we recommend at least 64GB for Keyshot workstations where you are using GPU-based rendering, and 128GB+ if you intend to lean more towards CPU-based rendering.
