IT Support Technician

The IT Support Technician is responsible for assembling and maintaining high-quality PC builds, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing efficient technical support within our busy Mt Wellington office. This role includes PC assembly with outstanding cable management, software installation, technical troubleshooting, managing customer tickets, coordinating RMAs through to suppliers, and contributing actively to team projects and goals.
You have a genuine passion for technology, an eye for detail, and thrive on problem-solving and troubleshooting. You're comfortable working independently and collaboratively, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
You communicate clearly, enjoy assisting colleagues with technical advice, and take pride in maintaining tidy, professional PC builds.
Please note: This role also requires availability to work at least one weekend day each week.

- Strong knowledge of PC hardware (essential)
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and standard applications

- Demonstrated experience in assembling PCs with excellent cable management
- Proficiency in software installation and troubleshooting
- A positive, collaborative attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Clear, friendly communication style, comfortable assisting

- Excellent technical expertise and product knowledge
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification (preferred but not mandatory)

The Showroom Sales Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales support within our showroom environment. This role involves managing customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email/online channels, ensuring customers have a seamless and positive shopping experience. The Sales Assistant will also handle the management of customer backorders, assist with showroom product displays and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the showroom.
You’re dynamic and passionate about our products, willing to do your research and provide advice tailored to every customer to support them in making the right purchase decision.
Equally you’re a strong communicator, proven in building strong rapport with your customers; you enjoy getting to know what their needs are and providing them a solution, whilst hitting your sales targets!
You’ve got loads of initiative, to be able to switch from selling and customer service, to email follow ups and managing backorders, to upgrading a display or tidying the showroom – no job is too big or too small and you love the variety and fast-pace.
